Bug: Incorrect word count Bible search for kai
Lankford Oxendine reported double-counted results from this search using KJV 1900. I confirmed this and found it also exist in the ESV. Mark Barnes confirmed that the count is correct in L4 Win.

I am using L4 Mac 4.3 Beta 6, but I don't know which version Lankford is using.

I'm using 4.2b SR-1 (4.22.5.1109). If the bug is a simple doubling of hits in the Bible search, that would mean the correct # is 9269. I still don't understand why this is different from the Bible word study of 9018 or the Density graph of 9082??

Wonder if Bible Search for greek:καί is counting manuscript and lemma entries in KJV 1900 (double the number of lemma:καί entries) ?
Bible Word Study (BWS) count is bit understated for many books, 9082 does not match 9272 for a lemma:καί search. Clicking on BWS chart to open Bar Chart with lemma:καί search results then comparing book counts reveals BWS has smaller counts than Bar Chart (e.g. BWS Luke has 1,499 while Bar Chart has 1,530; BWS Matthew has 1,204 while Bar Chart has 1,220):
Clicking on "New Testament" in BWS Textual Searches opened <lemma = lbs/el/καί> morph search. Observation: NA27 and LDGNT have same 9,018 result count, but different verse counts (both are less than verse count for KJV 1900).
A lemma:καί morph search in TR1550MR has 9,268 results in 5,223 verses; TR1894MR has 9,278 results in 5,227 verses; Elzevir has 9,266 results in 5,221 verses; and Scrivener 1881 has 9,272 results in 5,225 verses.
Option: could prioritize Scrivener 1881 to be # 1 Greek New Testament, then BWS Textual Search results in New Testament will be same as KJV 1900.

I am able to reproduce the issue and have reported it to Development for further investigation.

Any idea what is going on with the KJV search?
Logos 4.3 Beta 6 finds 9,272 results in 5,225 verses while Logos 4.2b SR-1 finds 9,269 results in 5,225 verses (replicated).

Thanks again! I'm assuming Beta 6 is the more accurate one.
