Beta 7 BWS spinning wheel
Did there used to be a 'stop' button on the different guides to cancel section population? I don't see it anymore. Maybe I am remembering from the Windows version? I have noticed at times that when a BWS was still populating, and I clicked the X to close it, the spinning wheel would come up until the activity process wheel would finish before it would close. What was being populated would determine how long it took. However, it doesn't freeze or crash. I would think that clicking the X would be programmed to stop the population processes, and not let them complete.

The Stop button is available in guides in Windows, but I don't think it was ever available in the Mac version. I've filed a Mac parity case for that function.
When I close a guide panel in Mac or Windows, it can take about 3 seconds to close, but sometimes it closes immediately. The faster close may be due to more sections being populated already before I close the panel.

I was confused as well. And I was the OP. But I must admit that I am impressed that they continue to track problems/bugs after such a long time.Mike Binks said:Can we edit the title of this post - it makes me feel inadequate?
