Sometimes I wish to create a document that compares for instance, the source text in Greek or Hebrew with an English translation such as the NKJV. To accomplish that I copy a passage from the NA27, then copy the same passage from the NKJV. It would be much simpler if I could copy both simultaneously in one operation, rather than going through the process twice. Is it possible in Logos 4 for Windows? If so, How?

Thank You,

You can use the Passage List or Text Comparison tool and from them you can use the Print/Export menu option to send your passages for which ever translations that you want to Word.

EDIT: in fact the Passage List (PL) may be the easiest in that you can easily use Copy/Paste to get both translations into your word processor

Selected Bible versions in the PL and then right-clicked on the passage and selected Copy. (BTW: you can select more than 1 passage in PL by using the Ctrl key when you click on a passage)

EDIT2: How to add verse(s) to Passage List

    image

    1. Use File in the menu bar to open a temporary Passage List. You will want it open in your desktop.

    2. In your Bible drag over the verses that you want to add to your Passage List. Then right click on the selected verses.

    3. In the pop-up menu (right-click menu) on the right side click on Reference.

    4. Then on the left side scroll down and click on your temporary passage list.

    5. Now in your passage list click in the Add version box. As you start typing Logos4 will show you your Bible. To add more than one translation, type a comma and a space and start typing the next Bible's name or abbreviation. Then click on the blue arrow to have PL show your verses in both translations.
