The Console Messages.log file that you uploaded is from 12 May 2011. Are you able to upload the Logos4.log from ~/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Logging folder?

No - I tried recreating the layout, but it crashed on that one also.

Hmmmmmmmm....I know what happened now. I'm running the the Beta on an external clone drive. When I hit the alias to my "~/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Logging" folder it took me to my internal drive (as it should have). I should have manually gone to that folder on the external drive. I'll submit that log shortly and install RC-1 to see if the issue is resolved.

Follow up: Could you include the steps you take to load the layout--does it load at startup, or from a shortcut, or from the Layouts menu, or from context menu in Layouts when right-clicked? Also what type of Mac are you using--iMac (and screen size), MacBook, etc.?
Since I've turn logging on, It haven't been able to get it to crashed on me as before. I have 13 saved layouts - with shortcuts to four of them. The crashes occur as I attempt to use the shortcuts. The resource panes would all appear, but it crashes before the text is seen.
