Sorting notes hits a snag when the Bible reference spans more than one book

I appreciate Notes being sorted in canonical order. After I've added a
number of notes, I just go to the menu icon in the Notes window, choose
"Sort," and it does it all.
Except for one anomaly: It doesn't know what to do with one particular note for which the Bible reference is "1 Kings 22:51 - 2 Kings 1:18." That's right; this note refers to parts of TWO consecutive books of the Bible. It always puts this at the very bottom of the list.
To me, the logical thing would be to sort on the basis of the initial
verse in the reference. So this should be placed between any notes who
reference begins with 1 Kings 22:50 and 1 Kings 22:52.
P.S. I wrote about this way back in November/2010, but no one ever responded. In fact, the Logos forum search can't even find it. Try it yourself: search for <"Bruce Fraser" Kings sort> and it will come up empty. But the post is there: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/25435/188312.aspx#188312. Perhaps having a colon in the Subject makes things go haywire?

I am able to reproduce the issue. The notes feature is one that is being actively worked on and this issue will be fixed in a future release. [:)]
