PB vs. Sermon File Addin

Is my understanding correct? Is PB going to replace Sermon File Addin? I purchased Sermon File Addin when it was first released and have missed it greatly. But I see that PB requires an annual fee. Does that mean I will not be able to use it and thus losing functionality that I paid for? Unless, of course, I pay the annual fee. Don't get me wrong, the annual fee is reasonable, but it wasn't part of the deal when I purchased the Sermon File Addin.

This upgrade to Logos 4 has been so frustrating. I have never seen a new version of software released that does not have near the functionality the previous version has.

Eric, good news, the PBB in Logos 4 is free. The PBB annual fee you see on logos.com was for the old Libronix version of the pbb.

Logos has said that the sermon file addin will be partly replaced by the new pbb and an as-yet unreleased website.

Sorry for your frustration. PBB is going to be free, as told by Logos. Now your sermons can be researched like a book with hyper-links and all.

I am hoping this doesn't mean needing to go outside of Logos, but we'll have to wait and see.

That's a relief. I just installed 4.3 RC today and opened up Personal Book and it had a 'Start here' link that took my browser to a page that talked about the fees. That's why I was concerned.
