Personal Book linkage to New Bible Commentary
Hi
I was trying to create a resource link in a PB to the section on Authorship of Deuteronomy in the NBC
I copied the link as Wiki and then pasted it into my document.
However when I compile the document the link goes to the start of the Commentary

Any thoughts appreciated

If I'm correct that your problem relates to linking to the resource "offset", I think there was another thread recently where this came up and Melissa confirmed that this feature is not yet functional but tabled for a future release. But maybe I'm mixing this up and someone has better news for you.

I had a similar failure linking to a Notes section in EBC. The only reason I thought it would work is that the active reference was Bible, whereas the NBC article has no active reference. Interestingly the WIKI format gives the same position (deuteronomy3c) as the more difficult clipboard method in earlier revisions (e.g. 45) of the wiki article on PB. Since that syntax with the pipe separator no longer compiles and the WIKI syntax does compile, there remains the hope that Logos can fix it.

This is an instance where, if the link goes to an article, sometimes the book and location have to be typed in capital letters. This may not always be the case, but for now, that is the workaround. So the syntax for that link should look like this:
[[Date and Authorship >> logosres:NBC;art=DEUTERONOMY3C]]

That works well. Hopefully the next release will not be case sensitive for this and "H" @Headword!

Is there anyway to know when upper case is required?
I hope for case-insensitivity, but, barring that, the wiki formatted links that we can get from a resource's panel menu should be generated in the proper case.

This is a case where case is important, but that may not always be the case. In any case be careful to note the case, just in case it doesn't work.

Thanks Melissa - that works
It would be nice not to have to change from how the information is copied across but its a good workaround.
