BUG: (or at least mild irritant) -
I don't know what the technical name is for the resource icon in the upper left hand of the pallet, but it is my habit of clicking it on its arrow. When you do this, the pop up box doesn't fit below (as it should), but pops up in the same area where you clicked. Annoyingly, this is where the "reduce font size" button appears. Consequently, I am constantly fixing the font size back up to where I want it to be. PLEASE Logos, move the dialog box down! The two screen shots show what I am referring to.

I can confirm that this seems to be Mac-specific, as it doesn't occur on my Win7 installation:
Thanks for rubbing it in [:D]

Here is my Mac screen shot. Is it different than yours? Perhaps I am not understanding your problem

I would love it if I could get mine to do that, but alas, no luck. Yes, your screen shot is different than mine.

We'll look into it.
Follow up: This appears to happen in the Lion OSx only. Do those of you seeing the problem have Lion? We have reported the problem to development.

Melissa - In the grand scheme of things, this is pretty low on the list... but it still irritates me [:)] Any update?

This is currently on the list of Lion specific issues to fix. Unfortunately, we are currently using a standard Cocoa control for which Apple has changed the behavior. As a result, a custom control will most likely have to be created to work around this new, undesired behavior.

Having done a quick look round Preview and Pages etc I think that this may just need a redesign of the icon. Logos here, uniquely ( and therefore un-mac like) has gone for a double height icon.
All the other applications have icons that are inset into their tool bar and thus the drop down menu aligns with the base line of the icons boarder box.
Please don't make a custom control - please make the application more 'Mac Like' custom controls are only going to cause tears later down the line when Apple makes another change and Logos has its own special way of doing things.
Perhaps you could review the redundancy in the drop down menus.
eg
Two finger (secondary click) on title tab.
Open in floating window (useful but duplicated)
Open all in floating window (silly)
Open copy in New Tab (useful but duplicated)
Close this Tab (duplicated but useful)
Close other Tabs (esoteric)
Close all Tabs (useless)
Menu on Book Cover
Font Sizing (useful)
Find in this Panel (esoteric)
Link Sets (useful)
Send Hyperlinks Here (useful)
Show locations bar (useful)
Show table of contents (unnecessary)
Read aloud ( if you must)
Print / Export (if it isn't specific to the panel then not here)
Columns (too many options to be sensible)
Reading View (useful)
Copy this panel to a new tab (useful but duplicated)
Float this panel (useful but duplicated)
Copy location as (well I guess somebody uses it)
Close (ok)
So my suggestion would be
1. To use the single click on the Book Cover to produce the (annoying) details that come up as you move your cursor across the row of tabs.
2. To thin down the two lots of options on the menu and confine them to a secondary click on the book title tab.
This would negate the necessity from moving away again from the Mac like program that we were promised when we invested in this software and leave the program better suited for operating system upgrades that are bound to come.

This issue should be resolved in 4.5 Beta 8.
