Extraneous boarder lines in pasted diagrams

I am writing a book in which I want to include sentence diagrams. I can create the diagrams in Logos 4 and then cut and paste them into my word processor, Microsoft Word 2003. Sometimes the pasted diagrams are fine but other times there is a hairline line on one or more edge of the diagram. I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out what's going on but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes recreating the diagram from scratch will fix the problem sometimes not. It is not Word applying a boarder. This is very frustrating and impeding progress on the book.

I'd upload examples if I could figure out how to do it.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

Thanks--Terry
