Is there a shortcut key for "close all"? Or is there a way to set a shortcut key? Or even a shortcut key for closing a particular tile with all its tabs.

type Close All at the command box, drag "Close All" below "Tools" to the shortcut Bar.

Seth

Welcome to the forums.

Someone else already answered while I was typing.

Just wanted to add that your new icon will look like the one circles in blue below

Thanks for the responses. Just before I got these replies, I found Cmd + Opt + W (keyboard shortcut for "close all").

Exactly what I did.  I "pimped it up" a bit by using the icon with the Omega (Ω) to indicate "The End."  If I could import a cartoon character, I could have placed a cartoon character there for that purpose (wasn't it Porky Pig who would appear at the end of the cartoon saying "That's all folks"?

George,

I used "X" to follow windows/Mac convention :-)

If you can remember the CMD+OPT+W key stroke, I found that it Close All Panels faster.
