Hi there we are testing out proclaim with a macbook in our Sunday services and are facing very poor performance issues.

I am wondering what if proclaim will runs on windows 64 bit operating system? and if intel or amd processors make a difference. What kind of graphics card is needed?

I can confirm that this runs on an x64 system - that is what I have been using throughout the alpha and beta testing. I do have a decent graphics card (1GB of discreet memory), so I can't vouch for systems with less. I can say, however, that my laptop runs presentations with 720p video backgrounds quite well. There is often a general lagginess in the program's UI, but I think that is more software than hardware related.

Platform Details for Alpha/Beta Testing Reference:

  • Windows 7 Home Premium x64
  • Intel Core2 Duo P7450 @ 2.13GHz
  • 6GB DDR3 RAM
  • Logos 4 Gold

Exact system requirements have yet to be written up, but Proclaim will require about the same kind of system that Logos 4 does.

Here are the Logos 4 recommended specs:

  • Core 2 Duo 2 GHz
  • 3GB+ RAM
  • Windows Vista or Windows 7
  • DVD drive
  • 1280X1024 display
  • 512MB DirectX10 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
  • 20 GB hard drive space on local drive (May require additional space depending on your library).
  • Broadband internet connection

Proclaim will most certainly work with a 64-bit OS. Intel and AMD chipsets should both work just fine.  You'll want to be sure that your graphics card is a dedicated card and not an integrated motherboard card.
