Using 4.5 B8  I create a blank notesfile (it works in a populated one but I just ended up with a blank one for testing) and add a note.

I then enter a Bible reference and press the space bar - this results in a link to the reference being created.

If I press the Backspace key at this point - in order to get the cursor to move back to the reference Logos crashes.

This is repeatable - logs attached

Hi Kevin

Kevin Byford:
This is fixed in Beta 10 which released today - a good catch indeed.!

Thanks for this - and I can confirm that it is fixed.

However, the behaviour is still slightly strange!

If I create a new note and do the following:

  • type in a Bible reference
  • press the space bar

then a hyperlink is created and my cursor moves so that there is a space between the end of the reference and the cursor. This is what I would expect.

However if, at that point, I press the backspace key the cursor does not move but the hyperlink is removed resulting in a non-linked reference. Pressing the backspace again takes the cursor back to the end of the reference.

However if, after typing the reference, I press the space bar twice then the hyperlink which is created seems to be "locked" and backspacing up to the reference does not affect the link.

So it seems as though the link is only temporary after pressing the space bar once.

Is this how it is supposed to work?
