That's very odd. I have it. Wonder why it would be different for different people in different places?

Nor I, likewise in the UK. Perhaps it's accidentally been made an EN-US setting.
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

Just as it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, Mark I agree it's beginning to look at lot like this is linked to a user's regional settings

What Regional settings are you using in Windows. I use English (Australian). Are you using English (US) LimJK ?

This issue has been reproduced and the case reopened and sent back to our Development Department. It appears that unless you are using English (United States) the link will not appear.

This issue has been fixed and verified in Beta 10.

Maybe the rationale behind this is (and was, but not implemented correctly in the previous beta) that the users of a certain language UI will expect to have a wiki understandable to them in their UI's language, if the feature is an official help menu item in their UI.
Going forward, it probably makes sense to have a wiki for large language groups, e.g. Spanish who even have their own Base Packages, Logos website etc.
So if you do your Swedish Logos wiki....
Have joy in the Lord!

The caveat in the Release Notes is "English interface". The Known Issue for Mac was "Help menu currently appears on all UIs, regardless of language." This indicates that Logos is planning to translate the existing wiki into a number of languages[*-)]

Is the Help file translated into the UI language for any of the other languages besides English? If they've got someone who was able to translate the help file, maybe they could translate the wiki. But since the wiki is constantly changing, it would be hard to do that. Some wikis (most notably Wikipedia) have a dedicated team of localization volunteers who translate the pages, but usually once it is translated into another language it becomes part of a new language-specific wiki and is only edited/updated by the users who are native speakers of that language. They might occasionally check for changes in the original English page and update the foreign language version, but not likely. Anyway, translating the entire wiki would be a lot of work. If someone is keen to do it, ask Logos to create wiki.logos.com/es (for Español), etc.

I agree Rosie it would be a lot of work and have the same questions about how this would be achieved - and great if it works.

But I agree with Dave's interpretation of the Beta 9 release notes....however the way the beta 10 Bug Fix note was written, muddies the waters a little:
"Fixed bug that prevented ‘View online user-edited wiki’ from appearing
in the help menu for users with their OS set to anything other than
English-US"If the strict interpretation of the beta 9 release note is intended then the beta10 bug fix note could be a little more clearer to clarify its not an intended feature of non English interfaces at this point - but maybe I'm just being a bit pedantic on this point. Whatever you take it is clear that its not clear what Logos is intending.

Maybe this would be a way of getting the wiki translated into other languages: http://duolingo.com

Thanks Rosie, I like the concept..

I'm sorry the release notes seem to have caused some confusion.
The intended behavior is for the wiki link in the Help menu to only appear in the English UI of the Logos 4 program since the wiki contents are in English.0 -

That's OK, Tonya. We enjoy a good conspiracy theory every now and then[:)]
