I use some highlighting styles to help visually callout and differentiate items in a list (1, 2, 3, 4 etc). I would love to be able to easily access these highlighting styles by simply pressing a number rather than going to the highlighting menu every time.

Please add numbers (not just letters) as highlighting shortcut keys

Yes

I'm completely out of highlighter shortcuts...perhaps also add a mode--for example, the combination "=i" would be different than just "i"

While you're at it, it would be great to allow a shortcut key for the erase highlight function.

Thanks for that tip --- that's really useful to know. It would still be nice to be able to erase highlighting with a single keystroke.

I've worn out the right shift and "k" keys on my desktop keyboard...literally...using this key combo.  Perhaps I would have been smarter to get a gaming mouse and program that key combo onto one of the button sets...
