Are there any plans to add a vertical scroll option when reading text?  I do perfer it vs the side to side scroll.  It is more natural for me I guess.

I do not believe there is such a plan.

But I do agree Al, I would much rather just scroll and a line by line autoscroll would make me giddy.

Tecarta Android Bibles already have vertical scrolls with variable speeds to match readers in bible studies.  Thus, it can definitely be done.  Maybe Logos should merge with Tecarta and fuse their many resources with the android techniques already existing.

Would not mind having both. I still prefer the swipe page turn of google books. So in short, give me all three, and let me choose which one I will use. That is why Logos books are so expensive. They have to make up the cost of all that programming for the requested features (which they give away for free) for the unsatisfied like me. Big Smile

For books with large graphics and tables this is much better. I also prefer it for Bible reading, because I often want to move ahead or back a verse or 2. But for books that I read sequentially, page turning is better. So an option that can be chosen from Settings would be ideal.

OK, there have been many requests for this option but I have not found any response from Logos. Have I missed it? Even if the answer was a "No!" (with a brief explanation) it would show they are reading the forum messages.

How about the app just anticipates what you want to read and displays it? Big Smile

Hi James,

Yes - you've missed it:  http://community.logos.com/forums/p/45212/338020.aspx#338020  Vertical scrolling = smooth scrolling.  I read all the mobile forum threads every day, but I didn't see this thread until now.  Sorry for the delay.
