If I turn off synchronization off it seems to work ok.  With synchronization on I get a message from windows that Logos has stopped working and the only option is to close the Logos program.  The log for this run time is attached.

Welcome Big Smile

Observation: the attached log file does not have error messages for a crash.

One option is enabling Logos 4 diagnostic logging; wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging then restart Windows 7, followed by launching Logos 4.5a SR-1.  If crash repeats, then compress Logos Log Files folder (contains all diagnostic files), followed by replying and attaching zip file to forum reply.

Since using stable Logos 4 release, another option is contacting Logos Tech Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact

Another idea is working offline for a bit ?

Launch Logos 4 on Windows 7, quickly press and hold Ctrl key until dialog box appears, release Ctrl key, click work offline.  While offline, open a resource or two, then close Logos 4 and launch normally (see if synchronizing changes).

Thank you for your reply.

I started the Logos application two times to create log files.  The second time I watched Task Manager for signs of life of the Logos CPU usage.  When the error I mentioned above occurred the Logos CPU usage dropped to zero.  I suspect that because the application stopped so did the write to log files.  Believe me I am not boasting, but I am a programmer and I have worked on JAVA programs that have refused to log errors, they stop and so do the log functions.  I love the LOGOS application and the support of you and others!  Thanks!  God Bless!

Panel links (A, B, C, D, etc) generate a lot of sync requests when you scroll in the linked resources. You could eliminate unnecessary links or avoid rapid scrolling or type a reference to navigate. See if this helps.

Thanks for your advice.  I tried with just the ESV displayed with the Passage Guide.  I got the same error, frustrating, Logos software has been so great!  So it is between the last update, and perhaps some windows update I am not sure.  I will have to contact LOGOS to see if there is something they can suggest.

You guys have been kind, Thanks, God Bless, Mike
