I am getting different results with the search command "near" in v3 and v4. V4 does not give expected results searching "all passages" in "all bibles". I was looking for Luke 11:1 and entered bible search "teach near pray" Got 0 results. In v3 immediatelly found Lk 11:1. What's Up??

This is to prevent accidental confusion of operators and words you're looking for. "AND" and "OR" are common words (in lower case), and it turns out few people use the operators, while many people put and and or into queries. So many search engines (including Google -- which we're imitating) require operators to be in all caps.

Getting mad at Google is unacceptable. Now if Bing does it, that's another story!

I also am not fond of all caps but I agree that you should enforce the all caps rule
