For any book, commentary, dictionary, encyclopedia, etc., there is an info icon on top by the forward and backward buttons. For a while now, when I click on that button, it opens to the info page for the book, but the "done" button takes 5-20 seconds to show up. It used to show up immediately. Not sure why this is happening, but it has been happening for a couple of weeks now. (I have been forgetting to mention it.)
(I have Logos 4 Mac 4.5a SR-1 [4.51.0.2057]).
Wonder if synchronizing arrows are spinning when clicking "done" ?

That is not the problem. The problem is, I have to wait for the "done" button to appear. I does not show up for 5-15 seconds. It eventually shows up so I can click on the "done" button. but, it takes a little while.

I went to try this out on the Mac mini here at owrk and at first I was able to reproduce the behavior. I had three ESVs open and it was taking around 7-10 seconds. Then I closed some programs and reopened some books including one version of the ESV and the Done button appeared immediately. Then I opened another ESV and it took a while for it to appear. I don't think you do but to make sure, do you have multiple versions of the same bible open? What are your system specs? Do you have a number of other programs open that use up RAM, like browsers or iTunes?
I did have open two NRSVs (at different passages) and two BHS's: BHS SESB 2.0 and BHS/WIVU. I also have a bunch of books open. But, after discovering Clippings, I have been closing books when done with them. I do have my web browser open at the moment, but I will close it after I finish this. I tend to not leave my browser open when I am working on papers. I do have iTunes and Word and Logos 4 open.
My specs are as follows: 8GB of RAM; 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
(I closed one of the NRSVs and the BHS's I had open. Same problem. It's not very consistent, though. Sometimes the "done" button shows up quickly, sometimes it takes up to 15 seconds to show up).
So, there is ANOTHER button that frequently disappears and (sometimes) reappears. It is the "Parallel Resources" button. I have been using that button and for some reason, when I click a parallel resource, the button disappears. SOMETIMES it reappears when I go back to the previous resource. It hasn't this time. Here is the screenshot.
It was there, but after using it it won't show up....unless I close and reopen the resource.
This has been happening quite frequently. With the other strange issues I have been seeing, I have been thinking of Re-indexing everything to see if that helps (since I am heading to work soon, it won't affect my research).
Any other thoughts? MY suggestion is that this is a bug that needs to be fixed in Logos. But, I could be wrong.
