My hard drive died on me.   I have it in the shop to see what they can do with it.  I have a number of Logos products in addition to a base package.  Included in them I have some Libronix products - archaeological magazines, etc.  What will I have to do to get these products back if they cannot restore them from my hard drive?  Thanks!

Do you still have the CDs that you installed them from? If so, you'd reinstall from the CS.

Did you ever do Tools > Library Management > Backup Licenses in Libronix before the hard drive died?  If so, and you have the disk with the backed up licenses on it, that would be a big help.

Did you ever do Tools > Library Management > Synchronize Licenses in Libronix before the hard drive died? If so, then you ought to be able to upgrade to Logos 4 and have access to those resources right off the bat.

if the hard drive crashed and it gave a 'date entry level error" with the infamous blue screen of death; then it maybe dead dead. Apricorn makes a cloning program that will also allow you to look at a dead hdd to a point, it depends on how dead it is.......it will come with the standard PC[large] case for the usb attachment or the sata/ata case with usb attachment, you will have to specify.....

I have used it a few times on both types and it worked great to recover specific files and data from a 'dead' hdd......

And if all else fails just give logos a call......they will have a record of everything you bought and should be able to restore them.  I had this happen a few years back and logos was able to help me get everything back...

Thanks everyone.  Unfortunately I didn't do any backups.  When I purchased some Logos 4 there were some items that weren't available in Logos 4 at the time - the archaeological magazines, etc.  I will give Logos a call if I have issues once I get my hard drive back.
