BUG: The app that will not die
Had several panels open in the main window with the Library browser in a floating window. Typed Cmd-Q. The main window immediately closed, but the Library refused to go away. After several minutes, forced quit through Activity Monitor.
This is an intermittent problem—very intermittent

Restarted L4 and typed Cmd-Q. Once again the main window disappeared immediately. The Library window hesitated a few seconds and then closed. However, I then received the Quit unexpectedly error message from the OS.

After restart, received "Resources Ready" message. Clicked install and restart. Received the Quit Unexpectedly message again, but could not provide logs as L4 restarted automatically.

Same main window as the first post, but a different floating window. This time, it was a search window. Cmd-Q, main window disappears, spinning pizza appears for many minutes, and the application must be forced to go away.

Am aware of a Logos 4.5a SR-1 installation on OS X 10.6.8 that often needs force quit to close (using an older 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo)

Using 4.5c Beta 3 OSX 10.6.8 2x2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon, purchased May 2007.
Wow! Have I really been using this machine 5 years? It still runs very well—just not 64-bit enabled. Of course, that does not matter with L4 right now [8-|]

I can reproduce the quitting unexpectedly, but not the hang. I will report both issues to Development for investigation and include your logs. Thanks!

The hang has not been repeated since the original report. However, the Mac OS "Quit unexpectedly" message appears frequently when a floating window is open upon Cmd-Q.
