I am trying to compare/contrast two specific passages: Matthew and Acts and would like to see them in a parallel form on Logos. Is there any way to do that?  I noticed someone had posted about opening up a "note" and copying the passages into in. Tried it and it did not do what I needed it to do.  I am using Logos for Mac.

Thank you.

Hi J Bret - and welcome to the forums.

Do you mean that you want to see the two passages side-by-side - in which case you could have two copies of your Bible open in adjacent panes - or do you want some "parallel analysis" done by Logos as you get in harmonies of the Gospels?

Just trying to clarify exactly what you are looking for

Graham

Graham,

The short answer is yes. I am looking for two separate passages side by side, two panes would be fine.  Also a parallel analysis done by Logos would be excellent.

Ok

So you could open your Bible to one of the passages of interest, right-click on the tab and select "Open a copy in a new tab" and find your second passage.

You then just need to arrange the panes so that they are as you want them

Sorry - not being a Mac user I can't give screenshots of doing this but hopefully it will make sense.

Not aware of this - what particular passage are you interested in?

Screen shot from L4 Win would be essentially the same as one from L4 Mac—in this case.

Graham,

Thank you.  I will give that a try.  The passages I am looking at are Matthew 27:3-10 and Acts 1:16-20 about Judas.

I am looking to compare Rev 1 and Rev22. Did you ever figure out how to compare two different passages?

Compare in what way? Please start a new thread with a more descriptive question.
