Split view should scroll to reference
I love the split view but find it a bit annoying that the left list of notes does not scroll down to the reference for which a new note is created. For instance, if I create a new note in Ephesians, it does show in split view. But the left columns remains on Genesis. It would be more convenient if the left column automatically scrolled to the reference in split view.

I notice the same behavior. I've only noticed it to be a problem when I have to delete a note (e.g. to redo it at a better location). But I can't delete it, unless I scroll to the note in the left column.
For the rest of the time, it hasn't really been a problem. In fact, I didn't even notice the behavior until I had to delete/redo a note yesterday (I attached it to a reference, when I meant to attach it to a word).

Indeed the scroll bar does not automatically navigate to the desired note. I'll check to see if we know about this, and if not I'll send it over to Dev.

This will be fixed in 4.6b Beta 1 and 5.0b Beta 1 for beta testers, and in general when 4.6b and 5.0b ship to the stable channel.
