REPEATABLE BUG in Notes: Font and Font size

OK, I have narrowed this down to a repeatable set of steps. This shows up in other ways but it plagues me whenever I paste things into Notes!
1. Go to Logos Program Settings and be sure that default Notes font is set to "Default", and above default font size is "Default".
2. Go into Word, and type something of a font and size that is NOT the Logos defaults - for example, type a sample paragraph, it can be random characters, in Calibri, 14 size font. Pick fonts and a size that will be really obvious to you, what it looks like, in that it is not the default font and size inside Logos.
3. Go into a Note (I use an existing Note, as you will need to click on something else within the Note later), Add Note - type a title in that box, like Test, then in the body of the Note, Paste. Highlight the text, and at the top change the Font to Default, and the Font Size to Default. You see it change.
4. Go now and click on another Note in that file, then come back and click on the Note you just created. You will see it says the Font is Default, and the Size is Default at the top, but it is clearly not! It will look like Calibri and 14 for example. So highlight it all again, go into the Font, and click on some other font, see it change, then click on Default and see it change back to Default. Then go into Font size, click on some other font size, see it change, then click on Default and see it change back to Default. Now it will stay that way for good!
Can this be fixed?

Are you aware you don't need to use that workaround any more? At least on Mac, Shift-Opt-Cmd-V now works. I don't know what the Windows equivalent is.
As for the bug, I presume it's related to Newest release created LARGE Notes font.

Logos, any reply to this bug report? I went spent a lot of time and effort to try and duplicate it, I am curious if others can see it too. Thanks!

Hi Dominick,
I am unable to reproduce this issue. It would probably be most helpful to get a screencast of the issue occurring. Jing is a free utility that will allow you to take a screencast, and is available from http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html

Thanks Brisa. Well, I downloaded Jing today, and am ready to go, but I can't duplicate it either! So something must get "set" into a state that causes it.
I know it will happen again, it happens about every 3-4 Notes I create. I went back and tried to recreate the Notes that caused it, from their original sources, and it worked fine. I'll post an update here the next time it happens and I can capture it with Jing. Thanks for offering an approach to figuring this out!

Hi Brisa! It happened again and I captured it with Jing! Here is a link to the swf file you can run in IE:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/56053396/Logos_Bug.swf
You will see I:
1. Paste text into a note - it is Times New Roman/12 point. I select all, change to Default/11. Add title.
2. Then I click in another note, click back into the Note I just created, and the text is back to TNR/12, even though the designation at the top is Default/11!
3 I change it again by picking another font and note and then picking Default/11, and the note stays as Default/11 this time.
Does this give you what you need?

Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you.
Yes, I saw this video. And, I was able to reproduce it on my machine! I will pass a report of this bug on to the Development Department.

Great! Thanks Brisa!

This has been fixed in 5.1 for beta users and, in general, will be fixed in 5.1 when it ships to the stable channel.
