Do you lose Septuagint Translation if you upgrade L4 Platinum to L5 Gold?

I currently have L4 Platinum.

A feature that I use a lot is the LXX translation in the Biblical Word Study report.

It appears that LXX translation in L5 is not included in L5 Gold.

So if I want to continue to have this feature, my only option is to upgrade my L4 Platinum to L5 Platinum.

Is that correct?

Ross, you won't lose any resources by buying a new Logos 5 base package. Any new L5 base package resources will be in addition to all those you already own in L4 Platinum. Therefore, you can upgrade to any Logos 5 package and you will still retain all your L4 Platinum resources.

Ross, you won't lose any resources by buying a new Logos 5 base package.

And you would never lose this feature in L5 even if you don't buy a base package upgrade. (Using the free L5 engine when it becomes available, for example.) You will have the resource and will be able to use it in all versions of Logos in the future.

What feature are you referring to? The LXX is not a feature, it is a resource. The Bible Word Study is a tool in L5. I don't know whether that will be included in the free L5 engine, but I would assume it would be since it is a feature of L4.

Septuagint Translation in the Bible Word Study was a L4 feature (Orig Lang and above). If you had it in L4, then you'll retain it in L5.

The BWS translation sections are driven by Reverse Interlinear data. Right now, the Septuagint with Logos Morphology (Rahlfs') has complete RI data, and that only comes in Platinum and above, but when the RI for Swete is finished, I believe then the smaller Logos 5 libraries that only have Swete's LXX will automatically be able to access this feature as well. I've notified Marketing that this should probably be officially clarified on the comparison chart, but I think I'm telling it like it is.

Note: Reverse Interlinears have a different commerce ID than the surface text, so since we've never had a RI for Swete in any previous package, simply owning Swete probably won't net the Reverse Interlinear data when it is finished, but the LXX (Swete) RI is in all the Logos 5 packages from Bronze on up.
