SESB BHS parsing pop-up bug
I don't know whether it's only in the section I am working on (Lev 9:22-24) or how far it is, but the first words of verses do not have a parsing pop-up like other words in the verse do.

I see the same behavior. Very odd.
You may want to add a post with a title starting BUG: in the PC forum and link to this thread, so the developers see it (they read the General forum less often).

seems to be throughout the OT.
On L5 version 5.0 SR-4 (5.0.0.1835), running on Win 7 32bit here. Maybe the verse number "before" the first word disturbs the parsing logic (it also lacks in information Window)
Resource:
LLS:1.0.204 / 2009-03-12T22:17:45Z / BHSSESB.lbxlls
EDIT: same in resource LLS:BHSSESB2 / 2006-12-16T00:22:51Z / BHSSESB2.lbxlls but the newly updated resource BHS with WIVU Morphology ( LLS:WIVUMORPH / 2012-10-12T01:14:41Z / WIVUMORPH.logos4 ) works okay: the verse numbers are away from the text. Note that the footnote markers in the two buggy resources are not a problem.

Resource bug or L5 bug? If the latter (which is more probable), L5 forum - or L5 beta for those who have access - seems more appropriate, don't you think?

The (non-SESB) BHS 4.2 does not have this issue. So I don't think it is a problem with Logos 5 per se but with the resource.

If you now tell me you run Logos 4.6 on a Mac, I believe you...
Since SESB resources are so old and so far no one saw this bug, it seems probable the resource is okay and thus, currently it looks like a bug in the software to differentiate between verse numbers and text. Maybe only in Hebrew, or in LTR languages. It may well be that the bug affects only this two resources if all others have a tab or whatever separator between verse number and text. Actually, these should be in different database fields - maybe one developer counts from zero and the next one from one in accessing the fields, thus the first one gets overlooked under certain circumstances.

There is an active case for this issue. I will update the case to include a link to this thread.

Any solution for this porblem yet?

For what it is worth, I have noticed the same thing. In BHS BESB 2.0 throughout the Bible (as far as I can tell), the first word of each verse is "dead". Even a right-click does not work! It is as if Logos 5 does not recognize it as a Hebrew word at all. I wonder if the verse number is throwing it off? This definitely worked in Logos 4. I have used the BHS SESB for many years, since Logos 3, and definitely would have noticed.

I have the same problem as described above. Any solution yet?

This will be fixed in 5.0a SR-4 or 5.0b (whichever is released first).

Thank you for fixing this.
