When I type in a verse I want to look up, A range of different bible versions open which I do not want. How do stop those from automatically opening and how do I add the versions I do want?

P.s. I'm using windows 8 if that makes any difference because I know macs layout is different

I'm not quite sure what you mean. I assume you're talking about entering a passage on the Home Page, and when you do that a number of versions are offered as options. Is that right? I think what you're seeing are pericope headings with verse markers. These are offered by design to help us users make a guess at what we're wanting to look up. You can safely ignore them and just type in your passage and press "Go."

If that's not what you're talking about answer these questions:

Have you selected your preferred Bible? (http://wiki.logos.com/Choose_preferred_Bible)

If you prioritize your Bibles, you will see your prioritized Bibles listed first. Here are instructions on how to do that: http://wiki.logos.com/Prioritizing  Note that your top prioritized Bible will be your preferred Bible.

No that's not what I mean. When I press go it automatically opens about 5 different versions of the bible. I have picked ESV as my proffered version so that opens but so do about 4 other versions of the bible that I don't want to use. I want to know how I can stop those other versions from opening and how I can pick which other versions to appear

Is there not a way to prioritize more than one version of the bible?

This is the default (and you can't change it) behaviour when you type a Bible reference in the "Go" box on the home page. This is detailed at http://wiki.logos.com/Opening_the_Standard_Layout

What you could do is create a layout containing the Bibles you want to include, open the layout and select your reference. Details on layouts are in http://wiki.logos.com/Layouts__.

Or you could type the "Open Bible to reference" command in the command box (as shown below)
