Resource updates don't help me, Dave.  I'm still waiting a way to read through my Bible, etc. using something other than the up and down arrow keys!

Thats a very vague question, there is a beta of 4a out right now, if you mean an update to the Logos software.

Whyndell (Greetings from a former News Groupie)

You have the latest Release version (sr7 etc) but Logos is already beta testing the next version.

they are calling it 4.0a and have now released both Beta 1 & Beta 2 for it. As I have not yet downloaded either of them, I have no idea as to their time-frames but someone has hinted they will certainly need a Beta 3 before this version is to become a Release candidate.

the other (occassional) downloads we are seeing appear to be resources from L3 that have been newly rebuilt for L4

Does this answer the question you are asking?

Steve F

There's one post in the PC Beta forum that talked about both SR-8 and Beta 3. Couldn't find it, but I remember it.

Don't download the current Beta2 - it isn't safe! Hopefully Beta 3 will fix the index problems that have occurred.

Scrolling now works in 4.0a beta 2! I've read there's at least one more beta coming out (unless they change it to an RC), before going gold.

What I meant to say is "What is the address for the FTP site?" Thanks.

Thanks Rich.  I'll wait (impatiently) for the release.

Use the center wheel to scroll and each click moves three lines. Unacceptable!  Clicking the center wheel to smooth scroll with the mouse doesn't work.  THAT's what we're talking about.

Okay, I thought you meant no scrolling whatsoever. Mine also jumps 3 lines at a time but that issue is present in other programs also. I have long ago adapted to the issue and either scroll earlier and more frequently or use the page down & page up keys.
