links from topics.logos.com - basic search

Greetings -

Working through Morris Proctor's Training Manual and his example of a basic search using 'adoption' shows a section in the search results that I do not see when I execute the search - 'Links from topics.logos.com'

Running the Mac version of Logos 5

Not sure what I am missing?

What exactly are you missing, the whole topic section (which may only come up when you search the "Entire Library") or only the "links from..."

On Win 7, my Logos 5 current beta looks like this:

Edit: was your internet connection up when you ranm the search? Otherwise Logos may not be able to connect to the topics... server and fetch the links. and other info.

Using Logos 5.0b Beta 1 on OS X 10.8.2, can replicate lack of Links from topics.logos.com in Topics section:

Definitely applies only to Mac for "Adoption". There is not always a topic from that source, though e.g. salvation.

Concur Logos 5 has a Mac feature parity issue; wonder where to create wiki list ? perhaps time for a Logos 5 difference page ?

Looking at topics.logos.com noticed 567 pages.

Searching for trinity using Logos 5.0b Beta 1 shows 5 links to topics.logos.com on Windows 7, but none on OS X 10.8.2

We plan to address this in a future release when updating the Topic section in the Search Panel with better integration with Topic Guide and Sermon Starter Guide.

This issue should be resolved in 4.6b and 5.0b (in RC2).
