1) Do a Bible search in one Bible (I used NRSV and Verses mode).
2) Click on Add versions.
3) Start typing the abbreviation for another Bible.
4) The letters are added after the word you just searched for.
Hi fgh
I can't replicate this behaviour on Windows
Graham
I did see some strange behavior in the "add versions" box yesterday. When all text in the box was highlighted, and I started typing new text to replace what was there, it instead inserted the letters in the middle of the highlighted text. However after restarting L5 the box is working normally. I have not seen the exact bug you have of adding text after the search word.
Ben
I just did another test and note at least one discrepancy with the cursor in the add versions box. If you type text without putting a space after the comma, the cursor will jump back one space at the end of the next resource ID.
Example:
If a space is placed after the comma then the cursor will position properly. Probably a bug in the parsing code.

I can't replicate either of these on Mac. I presume you're on Windows?
What has happened to me twice now, however, is typing net, plus the beginning of some other abbreviation, and looking up* to find net replaced, not with NET, but with Biblical Dead Sea Scrolls. Not quite the same thing...
* I have a bad habit of looking at the keyboard more often than the screen when I type.[:$]

Didn't solve my issues, unfortunately.
Yes, I am using Windows 7 64 so probably doesn't apply. But there do seem to be some anomalies with the add versions box.
Bump.

I am able to reproduce the issue of the lack of focus in the 'Add Versions' text box and will report the issue to Development. The focus does not, instead, go to the query box for me, but I will notate that behavior in the case. Thanks!
Thanks
This will be fixed in 5.1 Beta 4 for beta testers, and in general when 5.1 ships to the stable channel.
Confirmed fixed in RC1.
