Inconsistent behaviour of "delete" in Passage selector in Bible Search
I am trying to get rid of some old passage range selectors
If I right-click an entry and choose delete (as below)
then after deleting the entry the display scrolls back up to the top of the range which - in a long list - results in loosing one's place
If I click on the delete associated with the red cross
then it stays in the same place - which I find much more useful.
Is this difference in behaviour by design?
If not, could the behaviour when choosing the right-click delete be changed to match what happens when you choose the "red cross" delete?
(I know a range of UI requests of this type have been made but I don't remember seeing this particular one[:)])
Thanks, Graham

I am able to reproduce this behavior, and will report it to Development.

Note that the right-click menu is inactive in 5.0b RC-1 Mac. However, from Graham's screenshot, I cannot see the benefit of it. The red x works very well for delete, and a simple click will select that search.

There is currently a case for this parity issue. I will add a link to this thread to that case.

Personally, think the best fix for this parity issue would be to remove the right-click menu from the Windows version as it adds nothing to what is already available. Why would anyone right click to select when a simple click would do the same thing in less steps? Why right click to delete when the red x does the same thing in less steps?

The right-click menu will be removed in 5.1 Beta 1. This will also resolve the inconsistent behavior when deleting on Windows.
