I need help with a synchronization issue
I have two computers running Logos 4. One is a desktop running Windows 7 and the other is a Dell Netbook also running Windows 7. I updated Logos 4 on the netbook by pressing the icon prompt that appeared in the lower right corner of the screen this evening and it seems that all went well. But, after I did the same thing on the desktop I am getting a persistent synchronization error. I will include a snippet from the Logos4Error.log in hopes that it may be of help since it means absolutely nothing to me. Thanks.

Tim, is this error producing a crash or just notations in the error log?

Thank you Mark for your question.
I keep getting the little yellow yield sign indicating a synchronization error when I open, close, or try to manually synchronize Logos4. I am assuming, therefore that any changes I make are not getting synchronized with the "cloud" and not with my netbook.
Edit: To answer your question more directly, Logos4 does not crash, it just will not synchronize.

Tim, if you don't already have diagnostic logging enabled, please do that and follow the directions in the linked page about attaching .zip files of all the log files. Run Logos for awhile doing what you normally do then .zip the Logos.log file and the error log file.
Logos 4.6b did have some new synchronization features, so what you are seeing may be a previously undetected bug.

Mark,
Thank you for the advice. Per your suggestion, I did a quick but functional session because of the late hour. I hope it will be of some help. Do you think I need to escalate this problem to the tech support system?

Tim, the good news is that virtually everything is successfully syncing so you don't have a lot to worry about.
What is not syncing is the HistoryManager which was one of the new features of 4.6b. For that reason someone from Logos needs to look at your files. All your other data is being correctly synched, so sleep well.

Thanks Mark. For all your help. I'll send tech support an email tomorrow.

I had the same problem. It disappeared when I cleared the history under Tools. Try that and if that doesn't work there some other things you may need to do.
Longtime Logos user (more than $30,000 in purchases) - now a second class user because I won't pay them more every month or year.
