Logos 4 crash after update
I updates the Application Logos 4 for Mac and after Update it crashes all times. I have tried to open the program while pressing the cmd and opened with an empty desktop. But as soon as I try to open a Book/Bible it crashes again. I attach the archive.zip (with crash reports attached).

I took a look at your logs, but I am not quite a "techie" and wasn't able to decipher anything useful… hopefully someone else will have more luck.
One question: When you opened to a blank layout, did you create a NEW layout, or open an old one?

Good question - which I really don't know :-)
I double clic the App Icon, hold down the cmd-buuton and wait a few seconds. Then a window pops up, saying that I need to log into Logos.com (and with my account info already there). Below is an empty box (translated from Swedish to English) saying "Use an empty start page". I clic it and log in. Now the program starts, but I cannot open any book since the program crashes when done.
Do you get it?

Yes. You did right. You may have a corrupt database file, but if so, I don't know which one. We will have to wait for someone with more knowledge. Sorry!

There is currently an open case for this issue.
For now, there are two workarounds to avoid the crash:
1. Turning off Visual Bookmarks in Program Settings will prevent the crash from happening.
2. The issue is specific to the Swedish user interface. Changing the user interface to another language will prevent the crash.

I hope I will never have use for the settings that I now turned off ;-)

I had the same problem as Rolf and I followed the instructions and it solved my problem. Hopefully someone can help us with the real issue soon.

I experience the same problem. Can't use Logos Bible 4 any longer. When I attempt to use search, it crashes. Especially if I try to search in Russian language.

It is possible that even though you are seeing similar symptoms - Logos crashing - it may be for very different causes.

I have upgraded to Logos 5 and now it's working OK.

This issue will be fixed in 4.6b SR-1 and in 5.0b SR-1.
