BUG? 5.1 Beta 1 Startup
I installed the beta and observed on start the program seemed to be stuck syncing. I let it run for about for about a half hour and then pulled the Logos log (attached) to see what was happening under the hood.
Initial launch start was at 4:06:40
At 4:07:16 the program begins a cycle of rebuilding the Library Catalog Index and trying to replace it. This cycle continues to repeat throughout the remaining wait time indicated in the log.
I finally hit the start now button to force the program to start.
I know others have observed similar behavior in the install and startup of Beta 1

Thanks for posting this. This helps a lot.

Seth, This is what is happening after the initial session (which was very similar, but nowhere near as long as Fred's) on a very small library with 2 collections and 78 resources

Launch to Home Page took 6 minutes using Logos 5.1 Beta 1 on OS X 10.8.2, which included nearly 3 minutes of updating community metadata. Personally would prefer to turn off community metadata for noticeably quicker launch to Home Page.
Also had indexer running at the same time to add one resource. Wish for Logos indexer change on OS X to be like Windows. When resource(s) are ready to install, closing Logos on Windows is followed by indexing. In contrast, OS X needs to close Logos then launch so indexing and program launch happen at the same time.
