Bug: Mouse pointer and Notes scroll bar
When I have a scroll bar for the Note Comment/Content area the mouse pointer remains as a text insertion symbol when clicked on the scroll bar. The pointer is normal for the outer scroll bar (below). When moving from another pane to the Note the mouse pointer will change to Text Insertion when clicked on the bar.
There is no scroll bar when I open the content. It usually appears when editing (e.g. hit Enter), but it is insufficient to allow the full text to be viewed.

Ditto.
Similarly, I created another note in my note file for my class notes tonight, and noticed the scroll bar wasn't even available nor did the notes scroll as they were entered. Checking back through my other notes, the ones that had more content than the page allowed did not have a scroll option and thus the content couldn't be seen without expanding the size of the window

To clarify: this was in the "Split" view

Thanks for reporting this. I have confirmed both the incorrect use of the IBeam cursor and the inability to scroll in the Split view. This will be fixed in a future beta.

It does appear immediately after pasting text into a new note (or empty Content area), but it still does not allow the full text to be viewed without scrolling the outer bar. After I pasted additional text I could not get a scroll bar and I only got it once after typing text.
It does not appear for the Note I created in B1, nor for the note above when I returned to it.

I'm not able to reproduce these issue in 5.1 B3. Are you still seeing these issues? If so, screen shots would be very helpful.

I'll have to wait for Beta 3!

No scroll bar for the Content in Beta 3.

Oh, I see what you mean. The new editor does not have a scroll bar for each note content in either the Full or Compact views. The scrolling is accomplished by the Note document scroll bar. In Split view, each note content has its own scroll bar. This behavior is consistent with the old editor.
Looking back at your initial screen shot, the bug there was that an "internal" scroll bar showed up at all. This appears to be fixed in 5.1 Beta 3.

Yes, I thought it was supposed to appear! I'll have to check "Split" view now...
