Yes I as well would be QUICK to purchase the HOTC if Logos would please add it. I use my HNTC frequently and see no reason the OT version can get any love and be added as well.

Another vote here to add HOTC to Logos.  This is a very trustful publication.

I would be quick to purchase this if offered. I only found this thread through a google search. I could not find it searching LOGOS forum. Just got off the phone with LOGOS and nothing is in the works for prepub. It needs more people interested to get their attention. Anybody have any ideas on how we can get the word out?

suggest@logos.com is the quickest and surest way to get solid attention for desired works. I would suspect that they know there is an interest but there could possibly be something holding them back. Holman may have no interest in licensing it out. It may be reserved for their own Bible software, it is true this is available in Accordance where I own it, but this might have initially been offered to them because they had mac software, so i.e.:we sell it on ours for windows, you can sell it for the mac. If this is not the case it is quite baffling why Logos has never went after it.

Be baffled. I'm pretty certain this is not the case. Lifeway didn't own their own Bible software until 2011. The Holman Commentaries were released for the Accordance Library around 2010.

I'll say no more for propriety's sake :-)

I guess I knew word search wasn't owned by life way then, but Wordsearch in the past has fought hard to get exclusive rights for things like the Complete Bible Library which was asked for numbers times here, but repeatedly pointed out that WS had exclusive rights electronically for a number of years. Only FL knows the real reason this item has never been offered, and I have yet to see any official response. Maybe if Bob told us something (not sure if mentioning his name will flag this to his attention, and even if if did not sure he would have anything useful to tell). I am just very happy to have it in accordance. It falls on a more conservative spectrum that I sit, but I try to gather pearls from many seas as one might say.

I called several times and always got the answer, "that is above my job knowledge" type of answer, even after being bumped around to different departments for over an hour. I did email suggest@logos.com  and finally received this answer:

Thank you for contacting us regarding your question!

Unfortunately I'm unable to give you a timeline for if/when these resources will be available. However, the HOTC is on our list of book candidates, which means we’ve definitely got it on our radar.

Have a great day

If they do not have word on this soon, I am going to just buy the hard copy set at http://www.christianbook.com/holman-old-testament-commentary-20-volumes/9780805495232/pd/495230 for $200. If I do, I will not be buying a second set here even if it does come out in the future. The other option is to just switch to WORDsearch where it is offered. I hear their program is much faster and easier to navigate. On the fence for now.

It is. Over at Accordance too and accordance runs much better than Wordsearch 11. That said   I suppose it is where you are most comfortable.

Just bought it at CBD for $171 with a 10% off code EXTRA10. This code ends today, January 5th at midnight. LOGOS missed out.
