My attempt to install the beta 4 resulted in a file permission error. I restarted the installation in admin mode on win7-64. But it then required a second download of the files.

Kevin,

Can you give us details of the error so we can report it, please.

Thanks,

Chris

Sounds like you originally installed with "run as Admin", where an update will then expect the same level to do things ie. you also have to run the update "as Admin".

The second download was the B4 software update, not a massive resource download?

Yes - for me, it downloaded other files for the install.
