If you upload logs, we'll be able to see what's causing the error: http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging

Mark,

Just check ... I believe you are aware that Logos Bible Software 5 on Mac works only on OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) or higher. You need to be Administrator too.

Observation: Logos 5 requires OS X 10.6 or higher => http://www.logos.com/support/tech-faq

Personally have Logos 5.1 Beta 3 installed in a standard user account (not an administrator).  Dragged "Logos Bible Software 5" application bundle into a folder that the user has write access: e.g. Documents.

Yes.  Without Logos diagnostic log files, humanly have no idea what is causing problem.

Curious if had deleted all Logos files and folders before re-installing => http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#Uninstalling_Logos_4_Mac
