Paul,

I have lots of resources in WS 7 installed on another laptop. Many titles are duplicated on my LOGOS computer. I have found as my Libronix resources grow I am spending less time booting up the WS laptop. I agree, the power of  LOGOS is unmatched intergrating commentaries, language tools and Bible texts. The complete Works of Spiros Zhodiates makes sense in the Libronix lineup. I am just not sure what advantage Libronix offers for some titles like Ray Comfort, Greg Harris, Eleanor Daniels, most devotionals, and many Creation Science texts. Even so, I am glad these are being produced.

For me it's not so much duplicate resources (although there are some), it's more complementary. Also there are features that I find useful in both of them. But who knows what could happen in a few months, WS9 is suppose to be out this fall, and Bob keeps hinting about Libronix 4.

As far as First Corinthians goes, Bible Essentials has been on back-order for months, and CBD shows it becoming available in August. I would not be surprised if First Corinthians ( and possibly more) is on it when AMG starts distributing it again.

One use for some of these books is passing along info.  I am often asked questions by folks in the church and I often find some passages from these kinds of books and send them a few pages.  Sometimes it answers the questions and saves me lots of typing, and sometimes folks get motivated to get the book and read more.

In short, sometimes I get these other resources for use in helping others.

Oh, I definitely want the books in digital form. I have been liquidating titles from my hardcopy library as I add them to my digital library. I'm still waiting on 4000 more to get digitized. I just meant buying them specifically in Libronix format rather than WS, PDF, .txt, HTML and so on.  I don't place a high enough premium on the ability to link search a non-Biblical fictional work. Maybe Version 4.0 will have a global search function with advanced features I haven't dreamt of yet. I thoroughly enjoy Reverse Interlinears and Discourse Analysis. Both are features newer to my personal Bible study.

I must confess I do have the Harvard Classics on Pre-Pub order and wish they'd add Britannica's Great Books someday.
