BUG: "At Start Open To" broken (5.1a B3 – Mac OSX 10.8.4)
There appears to be a bug in the layout which 5.1a B3 Mac opens to. In trying to help another user trouble shoot an issue (perhaps this one), I noticed that my "At Start Open To" was set to "home." (It shouldn't be). I tried to change it to "most recent layout - local" but when I reopened preferences to double check something, it was back to "home." I could not get the setting to stay at "most recent layout - local." I restarted Logos, and despite being set to "home," the layout below is what opened.
The issues involved:
- My user preference for "at start open to" is not honored.
- The setting for open to "home" opens to some layout instead of the home page.

Confirmed. I get the same symptoms. It seems that, even though settings indicates Home, the program has retained the previous setting. Mine opens to the last used layout, which is the setting I had prior to this beta.

I am able to reproduce this issue and I have created a case for Development.

This will be fixed in 5.1a RC 1.

I know that this is a VERY old thread. I also know that I have created other (probably more recent) threads, but I can't seem to find them at present.
The last correspondence I had with a FL employee mentioned the difficulty in tracking this bug down. I have new logs, if they will be of assistance:

Alabama,
I wasn't able to reproduce this. Please do post your logs. Here are the steps I took:
- Opened a layout
- Changed to Most recent layout - local in Program Settings
- Closed the app
- Relaunched the app
The layout that I had opened before closing the app is what loaded when the app relaunched. Are there any steps that I'm missing?

Ah. This thread may or may not be related. The issue is that Computer B opens to Computer A's layout. Computer B is infrequently used, but it shouldn't open to a layout from another computer.Philana R. Crouch said:Are there any steps that I'm missing?
I will see if I can post the logs when I get back home. If not, I'll see if I can dropbox it and send you an email.0 -
Could that have been the last layout you loaded on Computer B? Did the setting perhaps get changed? This setting doesn't get synced between computers. I run both a Mac and Windows machine and I have different startup layout settings and they are not syncing.
Please do get us your logs if this is happening.

No, that is the problem.
