Hey all,

This is probably a silly question coming out of ignorance of how morph search works, but I'm hoping you can set me straight.  I have been seeing this happen a lot and it seems obvious there's something I don't understand about morph searches.  Either that or they're horribly broken, which seems unlikely :P

For example, say I'd like to see instances where γινωσκω is used in the aorist.  I tried doing this:

lemma:γινώσκω @va

My search results were 494 results, and most of the hits are from verbs that aren't the one I specified.  So, I thought, maybe the default operator is OR, and I need to specify I want AND.  So I did this:

lemma:γινώσκω AND @va

Same thing.  Screenshot of my search and results:

What am I failing to understand?  Thanks!!

Scott

Actually, I think I figured this out.  It seems I need to not put a space between search terms.  Sorry for cluttering up the forums with this!

Hi Scott

Scott Case:
lemma:γινώσκω @va

You need to remove the space between the two terms - i.e. you need "lemma:γινώσκω@va"

Otherwise each term is treated separately

EDIT: Sorry, I hadn't seen your reply about working it out before responding. Well doneSmile
