BUG:"Close Active Layout" is disabled even while I have an active layout
I just opened a saved named layout and the option "Close Active Layout" is disabled, so I cannot close it by clicking it. If I click it, the menu just closes. I've seen this a lot the last while. Sometimes it is enabled, but it seems to be more disabled than enabled. Not sure exactly why. Seems random. This is on Logos 5 for Mac.
Anyone know why this would be?
Btw, if I use the key combination Ctrl-Opt-Cmd-X, that does close it. It just cannot be done through the menu option because it is disabled. When it works, the text is like a blue web link. Now it is just "greyed".

I don't know what causes this. It stopped for a while, but has recurred. The only pattern I can think of is when I am in a layout, got to other applications and then come back. It is at this time it seems to be more likely to occur.
Below is an image of this situation. As you can see I have an active layout called Universalism (preparing for a study) and the options to close the layout are disabled.
So as you can see, something is happening here.

There are a number of issues with Close Active Layout on Mac and I can only agree that "something is happening here"!

I am able to reproduce this, and I have created a case for Development.

This will be fixed in 5.2 Beta 3.
