Hebrew Font size for BDB Table of Contents and search

Yo,

The font size for reading resources (such as Brown-Driver-Briggs) is adjustable and that's a great thing.  However, the font size in the TOC and search/page number window is crazy tiny small on my Mac, no chance of reading vowel markings.  Is there anything we can do?

I rarely use BDB now that I have HALOT, and I generally type in the word I'm searching for, but I would suggest that you simply choose a word with the consonants you want and search in the vicinity since the vowel points (niqqud) are generally legible in the text (and the text can be enlarged).

    Thanks George,

That is helpful, but I would still like to see what I'm typing.  The trouble is not just vowels.  Even the letters are so small it is impossible to distinguish ה, ח, ת.

Hahaha - you makin' fun of my age [;)]

    Unfortunately, I am wearing them.

Seriously, characters are really tiny.  For English it's workable.  However, as you know Hebrew fonts are by necessity smaller to make room for the markings and still fit in the same line height.  So the same font size in Hebrew is actually small than that font in a latin character set.

I built a flashcard website and wanted to accommodate for Hebrew.  I went to great lengths to make Hebrew look good (http://www.prepare.mx/deck/1)

It's possible Logos will notice this thread, but just to make the issues more visible I added one preceded with 'BUG': BUGS: Font Sliders again... (TOC, various dropdowns).

(I'm kind of fighting a war with Logos over font slider issues, but there are so many of them that I hadn't gotten around to these ones yet.)

I know this is an old thread, but has Logos made any attempts to address this problem? It's not so bad with BDAG and HALOT since I can search for the word using transliteration. But I just got a Syriac dictionary, and it strains my eyes to use the TOC.

I TOTALLY AGREE!!! The Font size in the search bars is way too small and it's annoying that it isn't adjustable. It's even worse when I have connected to a screen when teaching a class, because the adjusted resolution makes the search bar unreadable to students.
