While wandering around the Web site for the Oblates of St. Joseph, two points occurred to me:

  1. It has come to my attention that individual religious congregations sometimes make it a point to keep high-resolution art available, and for free. These congregations often have a specific interest in mind --- promoting devotion to St. Joseph, in the case of those oblates. Why not ask these congregations for access to these images? In return, you could tell them that you'd include it free with every edition of Verbum, maybe sweetening the deal by giving them a byline.
  2. Some religious have vows of poverty. Sometimes, people enter these houses. Some of those entering might be Verbum users. Are there procedures in place to handle the transition of ownership of Verbum products and resources to a religious congregation? Or is access to these resources just given up, consigned to oblivion? The current situation very well could be that religious houses would require that all that cannot be given to the community or shared be sold, if possible, or disposed of, if not. It would be pretty much "not-cool" if this stuff is absolutely not transferable, even if it is legal to do it this way, and even if the current EULA says that's the case.
