I opened my logos, went to my usual layout, read a few lines, and it crashed. It won't stay open longer than a minute or so.

Looks like the error comes from a bad database. Another thread here suggested moving your preferences.db somewhere (as a test) and restarting. 

that file should be located at /Users/aaron/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/44xl8lj0.tqm/UserPreferences/PreferencesManager.db

Either trash it, or just move it somewhere and restart.  See if that helps.

It is connected with the Search engine during a Power Lookup of BKC and not Preferences. But I'm not sure which database is corrupt (or if Library re-indexing is needed!). Does a search of BKC (Bible knowledge commentary) result in a crash?
