Hi Everybody- I purchased Logos 5 a few months ago and have fallen in love with it.

I was wondering, can I set it up so that I can do a custom search that only looks through some of my favorite books? I love Systematic Theology's and would love to be able to search through my all my favorite Systematic Theology's at once and have the results of only those books displayed so I don't have to filter out quite so many results. Is this possible?

Thanks Everyone!!!

Chris Gregory:
Is this possible?

Definitely.

I use collections. See the wiki article here.

Others use tagging. Wiki article here.

Either way you will see in the search dialog pane when you click on "Entire Library" you collections or tags. Select the one you want before launching the search.

Chris, since you are new to Logos you may want to look at the wiki a bit more. In addition, Forum MVP Mark Barnes created some great videos on major Logos 4 features and one on new features in Logos 5. Since the interface hasn't changed much from Logos 4 those videos are still valuable.

Hope you continue to love Logos as most of the others of us here do.
