Crash: Rightclick English Bible Definition
Discovered a repeatable crash this morning. Opened the ESV, did a right click on an English word, clicked English dictionaries and Logos crashed. Repeated it 3 times.
Windows 8, Logos version 5.2a RC1

Don, I tried to reproduce this crash and wasn't able to. When you "clicked English dictionaries" what specific dictionary did you open? I tried the Concise Oxford and Merriam-Webster's.
Also, you don't seem to have logging enabled, so your report only shows the error message, and doesn't give us context as to what was going on right before the crash. You can enable logging by following these directions. Please enable logging and then reproduce the crash again, and reply with those.

Dylan, here is another zip. What you describe is different than what I did. When I right click on a word, with the highlight on "selection" I go down to the "English Dictionaries" category in the first section - not to the various English dictionaries at the bottom. After clicking on that category Logos starts to develop a report and crashes. My priority dictionary is the New Bible Dictionary.

Sorry - can you clarify the '"English Dictionaries" category'?
Do you get a menu looking like?
If so, where on the menu are you clicking to generate the report?

Your log here records no crash. It will probably be easier for us to troubleshoot the problem if you call us at your earliest convenience. Can you call us at 800-875-6467?

It looks like your 'English Dictionaries' link is a custom guide that you've built. If you open that guide from the Guides menu does it crash trying to run the query from the guide itself? It would also be helpful to see a screenshot of your guide template so that we can try to reproduce the issue.

Tonya, yes it also crashes when I run it from the guide. This shot came from that situation...

Here is the shot of my English Dictionary template. I did not get to develop it beyond adding the collection...

We have been able to reproduce this and I've created a case for development. The issue is with the Topic section of your Guide being restricted to a Collection. This also affects running a Bible Word Study and then restricting the Topic section via the Settings dropdown.
As a workaround, if you set Topic to "Collection: All Resources" it should no longer crash.
