Logos 4 Mac – Alpha 9 Change Log

Update Resources
•    The “Update resources” command now works properly and will re-download any missing resources from your library. Type “update resources” into the command bar and select the “Update resources” option in the list. The indexer will start after a few seconds and begin downloading then indexing your missing resources.

Library
•    Timelines and Clause Visualizer resources now appear in Library. These resources don’t display any content yet.
•    All other unlocked resources should display in your Library after Update Resources/Indexing has completed.

Indexing
•    A new “bible only” index will be created the next time the indexer needs to rebuild an index. This index is used for Bible searches and for upcoming features in Logos 4.0b for Windows. Eventually, these features will be implemented in L4 Mac as well.
•    More diagnostic logging has been added to help troubleshoot issues with first-time indexing.

Bible Word Study
•    More enhancements have been made to the ring graph.
•    Fixed a regression where verses were not displayed when a portion of the ring graph was selected in Alpha 8.

Biblical People
•    Work on implementing Biblical People has begun. Please do not report bugs on this yet as it is not anywhere near complete.

Other Stuff
•    A bottom bar has been added to the main window to allow easier dragging and resizing.

Known issues:
•    Closing tab panels sometimes causes the app to hang, particularly with Guides. This is a bug with a third party open source framework we are using. We are working with the open source community to resolve this bug.
