Format of Pricing on Product Pages Changed?

Just doing some surfing of Logos products and noticed this new format of web page where the price of the product isn't listed on the default product page, instead a drop down list of various payment plan options:
Not sure I'm all that keen as it seems like too much hard work to check the price of the resource!
Anyone else seeing this?!

at the bottom of the drop-down list is a 1 payment, which i guess is the cost of the resource.
You are correct in that the website is not nearly as easy to use since it doesn't include the full price next to the monthly price as it used to.

Yeah I find this change NOT useful. In fact it seems to encourage more people to buy things they cant afford, since they show the lowest possible price on a payment plan and not the full price right away.

Yes, like the OP I think that the price should be showing the full price (1 payment) and then drop down menu should then be the other payment options. If this is the way all the resources will be displayed it will be annoying after a time.

Someone has got to reign in the marketing department, this is a high pressure sales trick that any reputable company should be horrified at.

Please Logos, STOP this nonsense. Go back to the more transparant way of informing your customers.

Has there been a quick response from Logos?
Everything I've looked at this evening shows the full price in large bold, followed by the dropdown list. When buying a resource in one go, it seems you can ignore the dropdown, since you get to choose between full payment and installments during checkout anyway.
However, I do agree that it is unwise to encourage people to buy on credit unless they have already made the decision that they should do so. It shouldn't become the norm.

I was too quick: the next two items I looked at showed monthly prices.
Interestingly, the EBC in the original example above shows the full price for me, but I already own it.

I've had some dealings with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in the United Kingdom, trying to get more transparent advertising of theatre ticket prices (including all the added fees).
I'm afraid Logos would fall foul of the ASA on its price advertising if it were based in the UK.

They appear to have changed back to showing the total price, an explanation of what has happened would be nice as it would be nice to have confidence in Logos.

Although, on my screen it still shows up like this:0 -
I'm sorry for the way this rolled out. There was some miscommunication and misunderstanding about what all was going to roll out when. The desired functionality is that we'll default to the single or multiple payments based on your preference. If you regularly buy on a payment plan and prefer to see monthly payment prices, we want to show that to you. If you never use the payment plan option, we want to show you the single-payment price. We plan to roll out a setting in the account area that allows you to set your preference. We may pre-fill that preference based on your past purchasing history. Sorry for the bump.

Phil,
it seems some (more relevant) things got bumped in the way of this rollout:
