Major BUG in German UI
New user Nico reported in General forum that in the German UI, the internal verse database for 1 John stops in chapter 3, so it's impossible to run an exegetical guide on 1 John 4 or 5
(this is an internal, not a resource specific thing, as e.g. German bible Luther 1984 shows the verses correctly )

This is partly by design, and partly a minor bug.
Firstly, the drop-down list only shows the top ten matches. We don't want to create a huge list if you entered "Genesis" or "Psalms" without a chapter number. In your case, the first ten pericopes all happen to come from 1 Jn 1-3, so it looks like 1 Jn 4-5 are missing.
But they're not: simply enter "1 Johannes 4" and you can see the 1 Jn 4 pericopes.
However, there does appear to be a minor bug: the system renders the reference as "1. Johannes 4" (with a period), but if you type that period, it doesn't accept it. I'll file a bug on this.

Yes. The weird thing is that it accepts 1. Johannes in the firstplace. It will show the first ten pericopes until I've entered some chapter number after the space behind "1. Johannes ", so the current behavior masks that 1. Johannes 1 is equally not working as 1. Johannes 4 (or 39 for that matter).
The bug affects all bible books that start with numerals, including the Mose books which get renamed internally to Genesis, Exodus....

This has been fixed and will be available in a future beta.
