When I open a bible; and type an abbreviation in the reference box, i.e. 'heb' the selection box comes up with Hebrews. If I select the dropdown option with the keyboard and press enter it crashes (clicking the option withthe mouse works fine... go figure!)

5.3 Beta 1 on OS X 10.10DP6

Just to mention this doesn't happen on Windows so looks like a Mac-specific issue.

Can you just clarify exactly the steps you are taking here?

If I type "heb" or "Hebr" I get the dropdown box with "Hebrews" highlighted. There isn't any need to "select the dropdown option with the keyboard" - I just press enter. Am I missing something in what you are doing?

Thanks for that, yep I believe it would be Mac specific as the stack trace ends on the Mono library.

Your screenshot is helpful Graham to show a subtle visual difference between Windows and Mac, here's what it shows when I type a book name:

Sine there's no visual indication that the item is selected, I press down on the keyboard to select the option and then it highlights as expected:

Curiously, if I just press enter without pressing down first, it works and doesn't crash! So I guess there's both a crashing bug and a subtle UI bug here :)
